Skilled Rotogravure Machine Operator

We have a printing and packaging company based in Dubai, UAE. We seek suitably qualified individuals who have experience in Tobacco packaging and printing industry (Rotogravure machine operators) with strong work ethic & commitment to join us.

Job Responsibilities & Requirements

- Must be able to operate the Bobst Lemanic 650 Rotogravure Machine (10 colours & 6 colours) specializing in Tobacco packaging printing independently

- Must have hands on experience in operating the Bobst Lemanic Rotogravure machine from end to end from pre-press setup, ink mixing (must have full knowledge in terms of ink viscosity & colour matching as per customer approved colour standard), checking of final products as per the quality required

- Must have experience & knowledge in performing maintenance of Lemanic Rotogravure machines and able to troubleshoot accordingly

- Must have supervisory experience leading and managing a team of crews for the entire shift of production and to solve any issues independently

- Must have at least 7 – 15 years of relevant working experience specifically in handling Bobst Lemanic 650 Rotogravure Machines for Tobacco packaging printing

- Able to train and guide other printers to improve on their printing skills & must have good attendance records

- Must be able to understand the complexity of the machines in the terms its of full capabilities and limitations

- Able to identify and retain print sample of any defects and report to Foreman & must ensure cylinders are in good condition for next production
