The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible: to direct or coordinate purchasing, warehousing, distribution, and supplies financial forecasting services or activities to limit costs and improve accuracy, customer service, or safety.
He is also responsible to examine existing procedures or opportunities for streamlining activities to meet product distribution needs, direct the movement, storage, or processing of inventory.
Requirement:
The candidate must have’ a Bachelor’s degree in procurement / finance / accounting or any other related field;
10 years’ experience in holding a similar position, preferably in food packaging industry;
Five years’ experience in aseptic packaging is an advantage (Tetra Pack);
Previous experience in handling shipments within the GCC and UAE is a must;
UAE experience and familiarity with suppliers within the region namely suppliers of paperboard, films and printing materials;
Experience in a converting plant (paper, printing and plastic);
Experience with ink disposal and recycling;
Knowledge in contracts dispute resolutions.
