Desired Experience:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience creating creative concepts and executing on complete product development and user experiences with a focus on wayfinding, signage, street furniture and public art. Experience in either design consultancy or corporate design environments are welcome. Adobe packages, Solid Works 3D CAD experience is desirable for modeling during and after the early creative process. Understanding materials and manufacturing processes is beneficial to this design process pursuant to developing products that can be effectively produced. Excellence in communication is required: in person, email, presentation composition, writing, and grammar.

The Industrial Designer will interact throughout projects with Technical Design and Engineering disciplines as a collaborative, cohesive team.

Project Responsibilities
• Work on on-going design projects
• Demonstrate excellence in graphic design skills and a high degree of innovation through a professional portfolio
• Create new design/artwork, wireframes, branding, layout flows, process flows, stationery, print, and other online marketing materials

Eligibility Criteria
• 2+ years of professional/commercial design, preferably with a marketing or creative agency
• Proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop and other visual design tools
• Communication & interpersonal skills with good command on English
• Experience in the print industry is an advantage
• A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
• Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plus
