Job Purpose:

Responsible for Project management in water and waste water treatment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Developing the project plan.
Managing the project stakeholders, project team, project risk, project schedule, and project budget.
Recommending the award of sub contract works.
Plan, organize and support project management and status review meeting.
Prepare and check the basis of design, specification, technical bid evaluation and drawings.
Mobilize goods and services to initiative activities, including drafting and work specifications.
Monitor events as determined in the Monitoring & Communication Plan, and update the plan as required.
Liaison with client and Consultant for material, shop drawing approval and for successful completion of the project.
Providing the required leadership at various construction levels.
Implement project administration process according to the requirement.
Identify, suggest and implement corrective action to improve quality.
Monitoring key staff for the quality and timely execution of the project.
Executing the project on time, within the approved budget and in accordance with the contract specifications.
Ensuring that the quality of materials and the installation of work are in accordance with the criteria identified for the project.
All aspects related to Project health, safety & security.
Follow up with the purchasing section for the procurement of the material.
Ensure proper material planning, allowing for sufficient time for approval and processing of material requisitions.
Compilation of all necessary progress reports.
Attending meetings with the Consultant, Client and Sub-Contractors.
Issuing instructions to the Sub-contractors advising them of available work areas and reviewing their progress of work.
Identifying and taking necessary corrective action to improve the progress and / or quality of work.
Writing project correspondence with project QS/ other relevant staff.

PURPOSE

RESPONSIBILITIES

● Achieve a detailed understanding of the Contract documents (drawings and specifications), phasing
plans, MEP systems interrelationships, construction sequencing and project schedule.
● Facilitate problem solving, as may arise, between MEP Subcontractors during construction.
● Validate design issues related to MEP and suggest alternative solutions.
● Prepaired BOQ
● Log and post all MEP changes and as-built information on field drawings.
● Assist in the scope review, budgeting and justification of MEP change work order.
● Assist in the installation of MEP work.
● Direct, monitor and control the activities of MEP Subcontractor.
● Coordination and administration of MEP related materials, systems and shop drawings submittals.
● Liaison with Consultant MEP supervisory Engineers, Inspectors and relevant staff.
● Ensure that MEP Subcontractors provides and adheres to relevant Quality documentation/records.
● Ensure that MEP Subcontractors adheres to Project safety regulations.
● Assist in the testing and commissioning of MEP equipment.

INTERNAL / EXTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS
