•Degree qualified or with experience in a technical capacity in the lighting Industry.
•5 years’experience in the lighting industry.
•General understating of electrical systems that relate to Lighting
•Knowledge of lighting controls an advantage
•Proficient in Dialux/Relux 
•Proficient in Microsoft Office packages such as word and excel
•Proficient in Autocad an advantage
•Experience in preparing quotations and commercial evaluations. 
•Experience in dealing with consultant engineers, Interior designers and architects 
•Experience in dealing with main contractors and MEP contractors.
•Experience in dealing with manufacturers an advantage
•Experience in managing logistics an advantage.
•Experienced in developing sales opportunities and meeting and exceeding sales targets.

Under the guidance of a more senior engineer, assists in reviewing supplier drawing submittals and technical bid analyses. Provides input to CAD Designer/Drafters working on the same project.
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

As part of a team of L2/L3 IP engineers you will carry out configuration, integration testing & changes at CORE, aggregation & access sites. The team is responsible for all product related integration, configurations and change management & making nodes visible form NOC using Network Management Tools. Additionally the engineer will carry out performance testing, trouble shooting, TAC case log collection during deployment & integration challenges are critical. You will work closely with the Cisco TAC team to work towards resolution is critical activity. Critically L2IP engineers will work in ILD environment for both international and domestic peering that is recognised to require specialised skills and dedicated resource with close tracking. Responsibilities:
As Site Engineer:
– overseeing building work
– undertaking surveys
– setting out sites and organizing facilities
– checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly
– supervising contracted staff
– ensuring projects meet agreed specifications, budgets or timescales
– liaising with clients, subcontractors and other professional staff, especially quantity surveyors and the overall project manager
– providing technical advice and solving problems on site
– preparing site reports and filling in other paperwork
– liaising with quantity surveyors about the ordering and negotiating the price of materials
– ensuring that health and safety and sustainability policies and legislation are adhered to
As QA/QC Engineer
– Verify that all quality related activities are in accordance with codes and standards
– Responsible for preparing Quality Plan that supports the project and clients’ requirements on quality
assurance and quality control.
– Ensure that non-conforming project activities including potential non-conformances are identified and resolved through approved quality procedures.
– Provide independent quality control audit of Client vendors/contractors and sub-contractor.
• Ensure all Contractors’ QA/QC control measures and procedures are documented, implemented and auditable and fully comply with all Client and regulatory agency requirements
– Responsible for all field inspections and coordination of inspection activities to ensure the quality level.
– Maintaining the quality assurance records and execution of periodic inspection on job.
– Ensure that the QC inspection work proceeds in accordance with project quality plan, control procedures and inspection procedures.
Requirement:
– Degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent with a minimum 6 years experience as Site Engineer cum QAQC Engineer with qualified QMS Auditor in the construction industry.
– Experience in quality control and quality assurance functions in construction
– Sound knowledge of ISO 9001:2000
– Able to work independently and contribute for the team excellence as well
