Must be willing to work and relocate to Oman
Preferably a Philippines National.
Degree Holder in Electrical with a minimum of 7 years post graduate experience in the execution of MEP Projects in GCC
Should be familiar with MEP systems such as Electrical, ELV, HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, GAS, Fire Protection and Fire Alarm systems.
Efficient planning and optimum utilization of Material and Manpower. 
Governance and oversight of all project activities and assigned work responsibilities to site engineers and foremen
Depth study of drawings, specifications and provide technical clearance to subordinates such as site engineers / site foremen
Responsibilities of managing the all Engineers/Sub-contractors and shall cover complete MEP systems.

Job Description: Senior Electrical Engineer / Project Manager – UAE

A Sharjah based MEP consultancy company is currently looking for an Electical Engineer to join their team. A good Long term position is on offer.
The Electrical Engineer is responsible for the preparation of Electrical / LV system design infrastructure and related facilities.
Requirements:
- Degree Qualified
- 7+ Years’ Experience
- Good command on English
- Some consultancy or client side experience
- Good design and project supervision experience
- Some experience in other MEP trades will be preferable
- Experience in LEED, ESTIDAMA and other certifications will be preferred
- Negotiation Skills

1. Design of electrical and LV system with authorities approval.
2. Ability to meet prospective clients with project negation skills.
3. Comply with all international relevant codes of practice.

6. Report non-conformities and propose corrective actions.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience: Should be 7+ years with a minimum of 4 years.

Basic Responsibilities

* Design structures, such as bridges (We are doing the construction of Bridges mainly)
* Read contract documents & Shop drawings to determine construction requirements or to plan procedures.
* Create structural models by using computer-aided design software
* Measure loads and pressures caused by environmental or human influence
* Follow construction safety guidelines
* Choose appropriate materials based on structural specifications
* Responsible for implementation of scope of work as accordance with the approved project schedule and specifications.

Qualification

* Min 6 years of previous experience as a Structural Engineer. Experience in Bridges will be a plus
* Experience developing schematics for structures in accordance with client specifications and safety standards
* Project development and leadership skills are essential 
* Advanced understanding of build materials, techniques and processes
* Excellent knowledge of construction methods and regulations
* Hands-on experience with AutoCAD 
* Good communication ability (both written and verbal)
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Up to date understanding of best practices regarding building safety measures
