As a Field Engineer you will be responsible for all aspects of the Woodside Petroleum operation at the job site, be it a seismic vessel, an offshore oil rig, or a desert land rig. You will receive intense training in technical theory and applications, troubleshooting, procedures, safety, crew management, and client interaction. You will progress through a structured training program lasting 30-36 months (including 3 promotions) and spend an average of 3-4 years (in total) working in the field.
This entire experience will prepare you for advancement into a variety of management, technical, marketing and/or personnel roles. You will be given a great deal of independence and responsibility so you must have a high degree of self-sufficiency. The job requires the ability to work under pressure and thrive in a variety of outdoor, 24-hour work environments. A sense of adventure is a must!

Job Purpose:
The jobholder will be responsible for the timely Procurement and delivery of quality goods and services and manage logistics at competitive prices. Always follow the instruction of the reporting Manager, the instruction may also be related to any administrative activity or company assistance.
Key Responsibilities
ï‚·Preparation, co-ordination and implementation of consolidated procurement plans and ensure user departments adhere to it in line with approved budgets;
ï‚·Formulate the Value for Money (VFM) framework for Procurement of Goods& Services
ï‚·Preparation of Request for proposal documents
ï‚·Provide logistical support for project activities; including transport for client visits,events such as workshops, meetings, etc.
ï‚·Coordinate the receipt, opening and evaluation of quotations, tenders, or proposals for goods, services or works;
ï‚·Preparation and management of contracts in liaison with the manager for its legality and ensure proper authorization in accordance with company policies;
ï‚·Ensuring user departments adhere to procurement plans in line with budgets;
ï‚·Carrying out market surveys, monitor and evaluate performance of the supply chain function;
ï‚·Ensuring sound partnerships with suppliers and clients;
ï‚·Ensuring timely, efficient and effective procurement of goods, services and works, while strictly adhering to the procurement policy;
ï‚·Establishing in liaison with the relevant departments and end-users, quality specifications of goods and services required by company;
ï‚·Carrying out designated checks on quality and security aspects of procurement;
ï‚·Reviewing the supply chain to ensure it is efficient and effective;
ï‚·Managing the annual supplier pre-qualification exercise;
ï‚·Managing the disposal of obsolete and disposable items with authorization from the Manager.
ï‚·Secretary to the Bid Evaluation Committee; collate and present procurement documentation to the relevant Tender and Disposals Committees for adjudication and award;
ï‚·Prepare supplier’s contracts and purchase orders and submit for approval;
