Salary: 23,000 AED per month plus performance bonus
As a highly-skilled & experienced Senior Manager you will support the UAE Country Manager in developing, delivering and managing Talents projects across the UAE.
Job Description:
Working alongside the UAE Country Manager and key partners, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and implementation of Talents UAE projects through:
Responsibilities
â— Ensuring successful delivery of projects from initiation to completion for one to multiple projects (up to six projects) simultaneously
â— Preparing detailed project plans for all phases of each project
â— Ensuring that projects are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget and quality standards whilst supporting Project Managers to manage deliverables with teams and stakeholders
â— Developing and delivering progress reports, required documentation and presentations to the UAE Country Manager, project teams and Senior Leadership team as required
â— Managing project changes, risks and issues, demonstrating how solutions will address client goals whilst maintaining company best practices
â— Managing internal quality control on all projects
â— Keeping abreast of professional development of emerging technologies, methods and practices
â— Working closely with the UAE Country Manager building upon Talents UAE projects identifying new ways to add value for existing and new clients, and maximise opportunities for client retention
â— Representing Talents UAE to the highest standards ensuring courteous and timely communications at all times.
â— Adhering to all memorandum of understanding and NDA agreements with partners
â— Compiling Case Studies of active projects to share with Business Development function of the company
Project & Line Management
â— Overseeing the recruitment, selection, training and operations of project teams
â— Liaising with HR as required
â— Leading, motivating and inspiring project teams, setting the standard for the ‘ways things are done’
â— Monitoring staff performance, deliver performance reviews and awareness of staff development opportunities
â— Ensuring staff resource is accurately and consistently recorded across all project staff for each project, and tracking that each project is delivered profitably, within original staff resource budgets agreed
â— Forecasting and anticipate needs, wants and concerns from staff

Require qualified and experienced Site Manager to act as the liason between sales and Project Management.

Key Roles
• Take-off quantities / Carry out take offs for material procurement
• Analysis of rates for Labour, Material and Plant (fixed and variable) and thus assist build up costing, pricing and analysis of direct and indirect cost for the BOQ items.
• Prepare and issue sub-contract enquiries and assessment of quotations upon receipt
• Pricing of External works and Landscaping works
• Maintain contract documentation and advise on pre tender and post contract matters
• Preparing and agreeing payments applications/valuations so that payment is received in accordance with the terms of the contract conditions; Works progress.
• Maintain logs for claims and thereby agreeing variations/change orders
• Analyze and Recommend Subcontract payment application based on actual progress of S/C work.
• Visit Site as and when required to monitor progress, Preparing Payment Application / progress payment claim against Value of Work done for measured works, Variations/Change orders, Material On-Site/Off-Site, Fluctuations, Special payments in accordance with contract;
• Any additional task assigned by the Company.
• Agreement and certification of sub-contractors interim valuations and final accounts
Qualifications and requirements
• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent & Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
• Computer Literate
• Good working knowledge of forms of contract currently used within the Civil Engineering industry
• Good working knowledge of standard forms of measurement

Job Purpose: To review draft tender documents to assist in the preparation of technical and commercial bids.
Job Profile :
1. Review draft tender documents to ensure all systems and components of the tender are included
2. Prepare tender documentation queries to consultants/clients to confirm and collect any missing data including; insurance, VAT and any regional requirements; To identify the scope of service that needs to be outsourced.
3. Conduct estimation based on the following:
Scope of work
Verified Asset Register
Site survey report if applicable
Specialised Contract Pricing
Manpower requirement
Area of Operation.
4. Prepare mobilisation plan , client BOQ and Organisation Chart to submit to Business Development l Coordinator to ensure the Company is positioned to win and secure bids
5. Develop tender cost summaries including equipment, materials and labour calculations for final approval
6. Interpret & review system drawings to identify any difference to tender requirements and raise queries against specification
7. Interpret and follow Company tendering processes and procedures to ensure all aspects of tenders are met including relevant discipline codes and standards.
8. Ask for clarification related to scope of work in comparison with RFP and Survey report , if required.
