Our dynamic interior design and fit-out company is looking for an interior designer to join our expert team! The candidate will have an opportunity to serve our reputed clientele in commercial environment projects.

The ideal candidate should have strong work ethics and passion for design.

Job Profile:

• Design concept and space planning of commercial environments including modular office furniture
• .Attending client meeting and discussing about the design and furniture layout.
• Inspecting and surveying site to ensure the plans are technically feasible.
• Providing rough sketches and preparing mood boards.
• Submission of drawings to relevant authorities including civil defense.
• Choosing the most appropriate materials for the design in line with budget.
• Advising the clients on progress of work at site and providing them with suitable samples of paints, fabrics etc to be used as per their color scheme.
• Preparing Project Progress reports and Analysis for review
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, owners, contractors, and consultants.

Efficient knowledge in following software:
• AutoCAD
• 3D Max
• Sketchup
• Photoshop
• MS Office

Key Skills

Color Balancing skills, Knowledge of fabrics, styles and trends, Sense of creativity, Excellent communication skills, Good Client servicing skills and Good Problem solving skills

Generally, a draftsman's main job duty is to create technical drawings based on given specifications and calculations. Draftsmen typically work with professionals in their field, such as scientists, architects and engineers, who provide the product or structure's details. The draftsman incorporates these specifications into drawings and plans that may be used in the manufacture, maintenance or repair of the product or structure.

Often, draftsmen use CADD systems to create, save and view their drawings and plans. Depending on the project, draftsmen may need to use more traditional drafting methods, such as drafting pencils and T-squares, to create their drawings. Besides creating drawings, other duties of a draftsman can include calculating structural strength, assessing building capacity limits and estimating construction costs.

• Having a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.
• Certificate Attested by UAE.
• Should have at least 7-10 years of progressive experience in Architecture, 5 years from this is a growing experience in the same field in UAE with an emphasis on Architectural Design of High Rise Residential/Commercial Buildings & Towers, Luxury Villas & Palaces, Multi-Use Complex, Mosque and Recreational Facilities.
• Excellent design and drafting skills and proficiency in AUTOCAD, Photoshop, Revit, V-Ray, 3D Max, 2D & Xref Detailing and MS Office
• Ideally knowledgeable of current UAE laws, codes and titles in relation to construction and design.
• A member of the Society of Engineers-UAE is an advantage.
• A keen interest in the built environment and the dedication to see projects through to their conclusion.
• Excellent English language skills.
• Good communication skills, both written and oral.
• Strong interpersonal and team building skills.

Below are the criteria for this requirement:

• Add Details to architectural plans from their knowledge of building techniques.

• Help design products with engineering and manufacturing techniques.

• Work from rough sketches and specification created by engineers and architects.

• Specify dimensions, materials and procedure for new products.

• Prepare multiple versions of design for review by engineers and architects.

• Design plans using computer aided design and drafting CAD software and revit as well.

• Design,prepare and revise drawings and layouts of the given structures and components.

• Produce draft designs and diagrams according to the given specification.

• Prepare drawings and diagrams for the sheet metal components, electrical devices and installations.

• Assist, coordinate and collaborate with designers, constructors and engineers.
